KidsHustle is a UK iOS marketplace connecting teenagers aged 13–17 with paid local jobs posted by parents and guardians. Jobs include gardening, babysitting, dog walking, tutoring, and tech help.
Every major gig economy platform — TaskRabbit, Fiverr, Airtasker — legally bans users under 18. KidsHustle is the first platform to build verified, compliant infrastructure for this market anywhere in the UK or Europe.
Parents verify their identity via Stripe before posting any job. Every application requires parental approval. Payment is held in escrow and released after job completion. Teens always receive the full amount they agreed to.
"I started coding at 9. By 12, I had software on the App Store. Then one afternoon, two kids knocked on our door — they wanted to wash our car. No app, no parent with them. Just pure initiative. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Those kids had exactly the right spirit. But there was nothing safe or structured behind them; no way for a parent to know where they were, no way to build a track record. Just two kids hoping the door wouldn't get slammed in their faces. That's why I've spent the last three years building KidsHustle to fix that."Sasha Bagrov, Founder & CEO — age 14, Hampton School, London
The company is legally operated by registered director Dmitry Bagrov under Urban Mechanics Ltd (Co. No. 10959925, incorporated 13 September 2017).
Five steps from job posted to teen paid — with parental oversight built into every one.
